GLP Trust Monitor Policy


Trust Monitor Policy

Welcome to “Teach Me How to Play”, a global learning project (GLP)!  The purpose of this site is to use writing and video to increase activity and build global awareness and sensitivity in students throughout the world.  The below rules and conditions are assumed to be agreed to upon your participation in this project.  Any person who violates this policy may lose the privilege to participate in the project.

All Participants will:

1.     Agree that this website and all submissions are created for educational use only and shall not be used for any other purpose.
2.     Abide by all policies from their own school and/or district first and foremost above this policy.
3.     Exhibit good judgment in any postings (text, photo, audio, etc.) by only submitting respectful and appropriate items to the project
4.     NOT share personal information during any part of the project.  General locations will be given and school names may be submitted but student names, ages, and other identifiable information shall not be submitted.
5.     Use appropriate citations for information that is not original to the author. 
6.     All discussions must be about the project and shall not be personal in nature.
7.     Notify the site author of any violation of this policy immediately.

Teachers/Project Leaders will:

1.     Review and edit all submissions for adhering to this policy before they are submitted. 
2.     Responsible for any inappropriate material submitted to the project by students in their classroom.

Disclaimer:

1.     The author of the Teach Me How to Play project website is not responsible for any inappropriate content that may be added or linked by users of the project.

  1. Jamie, you did a great job. I especially like how in #4 where you were very specific in giving examples of what "not" to post about the students. I may have to edit mine...I also like how you separated all participants, teachers, and disclaimer...I would suggest in the disclaimer part to include that you will not be responsible for third party actions outside of website... Hope this helps. Can't wait to see this all put together.

  2. Jaime, I am so excited to see how this project turns out. By my understanding, it seems as the listing of regulations covers it. I really like your reminder to the participants that they may notify you for any problems with the policies. In my terms, I did add a link to a copyrights clarification link (I think to common sense.com? I forget which one). However, it was my judgement to add that link. What do you think?
